I have read your views on the net. And my problem is similar. When broadcasted, people cant see me on my webcam but i can see myself very clearly on my webcam and the opposite person too on their webcam. But they see a black screen. In fact, when i invite them, a new webcam window is opened similar to what they can see. In that window, I can also see a black screen. I dont know how is that possible as in my view, if one window shows the picture clearly why is possible that the other window blacks out?
I have been trying all the options but it is not successful. And just for your information, the webcam is not even 2 weeks old.

i can see myself my friend can see me i cant see her , she is all plugged in her screen just comes up black
I using msn it sometimes stuffs up.
try unplugging camera rebooting then plug camera in you should have found new hardware popup bottom of screen if it does not need to reinstall drivers

i just bought a philips web cam all I needed to do to install was plug in to my usb, the computer says it is installed, i can go to my files and select video and i see myself plain and clear on the camara but when i go on yahoo messenger and try to use it just pops up black screen on my side and on the viewers side i have tried everything help!!!
