O.K.-I sat on my remote for about 10 minutes and fell asleep;I awoke and the screen is blue and a red lock is on the bottom of the screen.I turn it off and on; It stays that blue.When i touch any button the red lock appears again;even if i touch menu or v-chip or anything i try.I took out the batteries,unplugged it for an hour,even tried a different outlet.WHAT THE @#?K!!!! Help me please-It is a Akai ctd 1390 and it doesn't know who it's messin' with. I Ain't Afraid To Go Back To Jail,Somebody Better Tell That T.V. That Cause I Ain't Playin'!!!!!!!!!! Seriously, if someone has the answer i seek i will kindly put the T.V. down from over my head and start goin' back to church again.
Our AKAI CTD29STR Television has the child lock stuck on. We don't know how it was turned on. Could you please tell us how to turn it off? We only have a universal remote. The original was broken. I hope you can help me. Thank you for your time.

I had this problem with the LC320EMX, after extensive searching on the internet, I found a solution. The TV has entered some kind of test pattern, to escape from the flashing color test pattern do the following: While the screen is changing from red,green,Blue,White, & Black, and is Unresposive, Take your factory remote, Press the up arrow, then the down arrow, then (ON THE TV) press the power button. Turn the set back on and it should be functioning properly. (BTW: the set gets into this test pattern if you press too many buttons on the remote, or if you use a universal remote with the wrong code)
How many times does the light blink as thats an error code indicating which circuit has the problem. Let me know how many blinks and I will assist you with the problem.
pls check hideen key on remot cantrol
try digit key [- - -] preesing 3 to 5 sec. and see key lock is off than re set preesing 3 to 5 sec and see on the screen tuning lock is off
or
lock key on remot cantrol pls. press 5 to 10 sec.and see the screen red padlock is opan or green then try remot cantroll any function use normaly
