I bought a Samsung air conditioner split system (2 litres) in 2008. Recently, the remote control cannot turn off the air conditioner. I have chSanged the battery. It still does not work. There are no digits, symbols and letters shown on the remote control. How do I fix it?

please first make turn on your electrical supply for air con
and then use remote controller and find out there heat mode and select it then make your air con on heat mode ..

you sure 12000 BTU that small for split? if it is split system then it turn on off by the thermostat

The "CO" indicates cleaning operation and can be switched of via remote button under flap, labelled AUTO CLEAN.

I called out an electrician and he wired it for me. Even told me they sold me one not designed for my model, but he retrofited it and it works fine. Been about a year now.
