Frigidaire Combo unit - FEX831CSO - unit fills and not go into spill and making noise in dryer unit goes around. IT will not make noise when you move it by hand. ANY HELP ?

check out house breaker and could be heating element problem or thermostat issues ,not enough info for more respond .

The pump that expels the water may be clogged or have a broken gear they are plastic. Thing like baby socks find their way into them and the clogged or break. New pump will be about 60 dollars if that is the problem, and someone to take old one out and put new one in. The diagram is usually somewhere on inside wall of washer taped, it includes a trouble shooting chart and part numbers.

Hello Laura Clark - Does the drain pump make a humming noise? If so, you possibly have a restriction in the drain line or siphoning. Try setting the cycle to spin only and verify if water pumps out. If it does not, the unit could possibly be experiencing an issue with the pump, door lock assembly or timer. Since it is such a complex unit, I suggest contacting a professional to move forward accurately

It can be replaced. Here's a link to your manual for the dryer, which on the 2nd and 3rd pages has a diagram of it and a part number for you...when you have your part number you can order it either directly from Electrolux or find one on Ebay or another online source....if you have a local appliance shop you may be able to get one there as well....here's the link:

Hello Penny Kelly - Typically when the water temperatures are wrong, this is usually due to the hoses being connected to the wrong valves. Usually error code E70 or E76 will appear. However, you have already checked the hoses to make sure they are on the correct faucet, connected to the correct valve and that the hose has no kinks or restrictions. I would suggest contacting a professional to move forward accurately since the temperature sensor may be faulty.

make sure vent is clear, clean lint out of it, tub turning? if you have air flow and heat it has to dry if tub is spinning

there is two screws on the bottom front panel, take the out and push the frond panel dowm

Need more information to make an accurate diagnosis, try removing the front panel (two screws at bottom) and visually check first the belt (all the way around) and then the springs that hold the tub suspended.
I would bet on the belt.

check your hoses make sure the faucets on,check the screens inside the fill valve.
