First you will need to determine if your computer is capable of running multiple monitors. Some computers will have two video ports on the back of the video card allowing two monitors to be connected while some cards will have a Y cable that allows two connections.
Second, you will need to determine the type of connection that your TV will accept. Most TVs that I have dealt with will at least have a VGA port.

My benq fp737s monitor keeps blinking every 3 seconds. The green light keeps flashing and here is a clicking sound every time it blinks. Do I throw the monitor out or is there an easy solution?

It may have shorted out transistors, bad caps, etc. You need to open it up and do in-depth troubleshooting, but please read my guides first.

BenQ also makes the Dell monitors.

I have LCD monitor screen & windows xp as operating system.i cannot remove auto adjusting message box. it flashes on screen after every 2-3 seconds & due to this my screen will auto adjust at every...

The message is being created by the monitor not Windows. The only thing you can do is look for the option to disable it on the monitor's menu options. NEC-brand monitors will have something call "Onscreen Notification" which you can disable. Hopefully your BenQ will have a similar option.

Good luck!

When i plug the monitor into my computer the flashes Benq only!

Try connecting the monitor to a different computer, e.g., a laptop.

The power-cord to the monitor seems to be OK.

Check the "data" cable between the monitor and the computer -- try a different cable.

With the monitor turned on, restart your computer, and watch the monitor. The computer should show some start-up messages (white text over black background), followed by the Windows "splash" screen. If it does, the monitor is working correctly.

Hi, my BenQ FP72G 17 inch LCD Monitor keeps auto-adjusting every 5 seconds and every now and then it will turn itself off and later go on again. Any help ?

Make sure the cables are in well with a good amount of slack, it can cause a problem if your power cable or computer to monitor cable is loose

Monitor not showing anything

If it is still under warranty from Benq (3yrs), call them for a return. I have one (FP731) and did the same thing. There is an IC within the monitor that is bad. Pretty soon there will be nothing on the screen.
