I would have the front end looked at. It may be the tire, rotor or wheel bearing. It might also be the CV joint. They are all very important safety issues since you might lose control of the car.
CV Joint went out. since it gets worse when you turn right it is most likely an inside drivers side CV joint or the out side passenger side. The popping sounds was probably the dust boot popping from pressure build up which should make it simple to locate since you just need to identify the boot with a tear in it.
ok sometimes a cylinder can be turned try this open bleeder cap on front left side then slam on the brake pedal as hard and fast as you can this will sometimes turn it back the right way. if brake fuild comes fling out it worked. when you bleed then use a hose to go on the end of the cap and the other end in a bottle of brake fuild so it cant get air back in the line. good luck
turns over and crank are the same thing, so you are saying it does crank over but no start, right? you need to determine if you have at least 50psi of fuel pressure in fuel rail at reed valve.
it normally is up behind the glove box or under the hood you can try autozone.com to see if they have your car listed for diagrams pictures and step by step instructions if your car is not listed then try your local library they have all the car manuals and even copy them for you
Yes a harmanic balancer from tha corolla is the same thing. I had to do the same thing with my 95 geo. It works out to be a lot cheaper buying for a toyota than a geo.
