I have the same problem, and I am tryinjg to program a Cox Cable remote to open and close my receiver. There should be a posted list of remote codes. The one in the cox remote manual for Inkel tuners does not work.
Both Insignia and Comcast state that the Comcast 3 in 1 with On Demand remote do not work.

Same problem here. Insignia receivers are made with parts from all kinds of different components from different companies. I got a great deal on a great receiver but have had problems finding codes for my remotes. Grrrr....

can't find codes for insignia receiver.Insignia even gave me some codes that did not work.Very frustrating.Any ideas?
