When turning on my delstar mp4 ds821 is showing blank screen with an icon like hour glass in the centre, how to reset it.

I have had 3 try this turn off your mp4 player and recharge it for 6 or maor hours so it fully charged. Then with it switched off get at good hair dryer and heat for one minute untill its very hot but dont melt it. then switch it on have your computor ready to back up your MP4 player and also remove MEMORY HACK search the net its simple to do and takes the stress for the small cpu witch is why it froze DO NOT SWITCH OFF the player use only centre button to do this and it will come on again. hope this helps

Try to reset the player and if that doesnt do it do a firmware upgrade...

If you mean to put music to the player, plug it in onto the another available computer to see if it works. Or format the player. If you still having problems, you can upgrade the firmware of this product.
