GE Microwave JVM1540 will not turn on. I have checked the power outlet and it is working. I have plugged other items in the outlet and the outlet is working, The microwave will not come on and there is no power coming from the microwave.

Membrane keypads are not very durable, and do fail after a relatively short time.

The only method is to replace them as a spare part.

No Power at all

If it came installed in the house, it may have its own breaker switch. I'd check the breaker. Have any outlets in the kitchen gone out as well? This would support the breaker switch idea.

all...you should first check to make sure the outlet you're using is good. Really. Next, check internal fuse and thermosafety in the unit. They are both found inside the button area. The safety is about the size of a dime and 3/8 inch thick with two wires. Sometimes they open. They should be continuous. Not it? Let me know.
