Runs for 2 mins & shuts down now wont lite off running diesel with treatment

it almost sounds like the temperature sensor is in the wrong place. that or the flow is inadequate for the heater to run. if you have a sand filter, put it on 'whirlpool' or 'recirculate' and try to run the heater.

indicates insufficient fuel flow through the tap or filter in the tank
all engines will increase in rpm as the mixture leans out from insufficient fuel in the carby then will shut down from lack of fuel

You have oil in it? Many of these have an oil level sensor to shut them down if the oil is low.

I have a Hatz 2 cylinder diesel that wont start. Ran about 10 min. and shut down. Changes filters and still no start. Will run on eather

Carrier had a recall years ago on the HK42fz004 & I believe the 008 models because of intermittent problems like yours. Sounds like you need a new board

Consult manufacturer. You can track that down online. You may have a over-temp switch inside the bed. If so, then either the switch is bad or the bed is getting too hot. Have a trained technician to check voltage going to bed, if voltage is wrong that can cause bed to overheat. Make sure all fans are running, replace any fan that is not running. Clean all dust out of bed with vacuum and brush while you have it open.

make sure it is a propane heater propane burns hotter than gas if not correct heater it will overheat if ok check gas pressure if not enough heater will overheat you also might have too small gas line and are emptying it

My central AC unit decided to stop on the hottest day of the year. It would start and run normally for a few minutes and then the blower would shut off. After checking the breakers, thermostat and overflow shut off (did not have one) I saw something about a blower motor capacitor. This was easy to get to and replace and my last hope before waiting for someone to come fix it. The capacitor cost $4.04 with tax and had my AC working again. Needless to say I was beyond happy. I hope this can help others with a similar problem.

sounds like the hi limit switch is shutting it down,because it is not getting enough water,cloged filter, valve to heater notopen,bypass valve not closed,open up the water releif valve with the pump running should be alot of water running coming out of it.

Never take the cable off when running. Its so hard on the voltage reg. And the alternator. Take the alternator and get it tested free at auto-zone or O rilleys. they test mine free all the time. Hope this is helpfull .. Sawdust46
