Hi,

yes there is. the bulb used in most display are LED's.
you can purchase the same size LED's as your unit.
you can also even change its light color. Now leds comes in many color from white, blue, lavander, red, green etc... Also it comes into many sizes.

You need some soldering experience to change the LEDs.

Hope I answered your question and don't forget to rate me.
Thank you for using FixYa!

Regards,
john

Replace dome light bulb in 2004 f150 truck

Your dome light has three different bulbs inside of it. Two of the bulbs are reading lights which is part number 912. The bulb mounted in the center is part number 578. LED versions are available but are still pricy. They would cost around $75.00 verses the $10.00 it would cost to buy the other style. Good luck.

I took the bulb out but I can not get the new one in! it is as if the holes are closed

What brand is your vacuum? I have a Kirby with the light in the front. Make sure you have the correct bulb with the same size and number of threads. Look on the web under repair instructions for you particular brand and see if there is a description for replacement of the bulb. If you have a vacuum cleaner parts and repair store at your location, then you should call them. Something as simple as changing a bulb on your specific should not present a problem for them. I do not follow what you mean by the holes seem to be closed. Is it that the bulb will not go in the hole for some reason or that you cant install it? Have you tried to see if the old bulb will go back in the hole you removed it from. If it does, then you have the wrong replacement bulb. If it doesnt, then there must be some leaver or somehting you have to engage or disengage to get the hole to open. Of course, make sure the machine is unplugged while you are doing any of these functions.

My Hoover Soft and Light Supreme upright vacuum has a model #U4264-930. The last two numbers in serial # are 05. I have no manual and need to change a burned out light bulb. Need to know two things:...

http://www.vacshopusa.com/pdf/hu4253930.pdf Use this link to download a pdfd scehmatic for your model. This link is the site I got it from. http://www.vacshopusa.com/elite_%26_elite_ii.htm You may find more info there. Just from looking at the schematic, I would guess the bulb cover would pop off (carefully) and see what type of bulb it is. Remove it, take it with you to buy a replacement.

Wish to remove bottom ofpowerhead-Kenmore Progressive 11629912990

I have a whispertone vacuum, different model #, but maybe instructions will be the same. Turns out I didn't need a new belt, just clean out the crud and reset overload protector. The instructions in the manual tell you to remove the light cover and bulb first. To do this, press in and lift both sides. Push in and turn bulb counterclockwise to remove. (you need to do this because the next step involves turning the unit over). This takes you to
Step 2. Unscrew the cover screws ( on either side of bulb).
Step 3. Turn unit over. To remove cover, insert screwdriver at cover tabs on both sides and twist to release tabs.
Step. 4 Turn unit right side up. Press handle release pedal and lower the swivel. Tilt cover forward from back until front snaps free.
Step 5. Carefully insert and twist screwdriver at each brush support to free brush from base.
Step 6. Remove worn belt.
Step 7. Slide brush supports off to check and clean brush support areas.

To replace belt: slide washers and brush supports onto brush assembly.
Install new belt over motor drive, then over brush sprocket.
Snap brush supports into place on base. Be sure brush supports are not upside down.
Line up front of cover and base. Rest cover on front edge of base. Tilt cover to back. Press cover firmly until side tabs snap into place. Replace cover screws, light bulb and light cover.
