Here is the link to your drivers and as far as them not having them anymore it might be a cost saving idea.Bad move for customers. There just not carrying a lot of the drivers on the servers for devices that they sold from years prior then 2011.They sold the scanner in 2004 and they should keep they drivers available for a reasonable 25 years it's only data. good luck hope it helps. http://members.driverguide.com/driver_search.php?q=Canon+CanoScan+3000ex&si=92bd74e81599e023ef8c5e4d602b0214&st=1311734158&gqm0=Canon+CanoScan+3000ex

Please note the manufacturer of the device (Canon CanoScan 3000F) has not released the compatible drivers for Windows 7, hence I would suggest you to install the available driver in compatibility mode and check if it gets installed on your computer.
To do that you need to follow the steps provided below.
Locate the installer.exe or setup.exe file in your and right-click on the file. From the contextual menu, choose Properties > Compatibility. Choose the version of Windows you want to emulate and select the "Run this program in compatibility mode" checkbox. Run the installer! See if it will load up. I hope this assisted you. John
