My Parrot CK3100 will not seem to switch off when the ignition is turned off and the car is locked. The display seems to remain on 24x7 and now seems to be draining the car's battery. Any idea how to resolve this?

It is not wired up to ignition properly. The install has to be fixed so the Parrot turns on and off with ignition.

the above thread has several suggestions for solutions. The most common that seems to work is a phone reset. Make sure you backup any data first though.

Wont switch off even when key is removed from ignition

Check the 12v supply to the red (permanent) supply & the orange (ignition supply) if the orange is staying 12v with the key turned off then you must seek a 2v supply elsewhere. What car is the kit installed into?

Hi, I seem to have lost the bluetooth connection on my parrot CK3100, it was working fine, when I switch on my car it comes on but there is no connection at all, how can I fix this?

First, you will have to come back into the vehicle and switch on to get the kit under power supply.

With your mobile, just switch off and retreive the battery of the phone during a minute and put it on again. You will see something happening a research of the phone to pair automatically.

If not, you can try to go to settings- > paired device and then select your phone broadcasted and connect. You will see an answer and get an idea.

But you can also rebuild the pairing between both devices, then delete the phone paired and use a specific menu into settings -> advanced settings -> pair with phone and select one of them.

Pairing a Parrot CK3100 to Iphone 3GS

My iPhone 3G is now connected. Did 3 things:

1. Deleted every existing paired device on the Parrot CK3100.

2. Pressed all 3 buttons at once. Parrot CK3100 screen lit up and buttons lit up after about 5 secs. Turned car engine off. Parrot switched off. Turned car on again.

3. Went to settings, advanced settings, pair device (and also switched on iPhone bluetooth) and tapped Parrot CK3100 on the iPhone screen (which had now appeared) - phone connected.

After about a minute sync iPhone phonebook appeared on Parrot.

Hope this is helpful.
