In case Xerox 8830 scanner fluorescent does not shine the simpliest way try replace one or put this lamp on another working device and check if it work

it is likely the lamp.
Easy fix.
Buy a new lamp at a good lamp supply store. Type F32T8 SPX41
Make sure the back plate is white and re-normalize the cameras.

If you get the "NOT READY" message only after you insert an original
then the problem is likely the motion sensor.

As far as the scanner insert a sheet to copy and when it says NOT READY instead of rolling the paper out the way you put it in, roll it forward until it comes out the back.

An LL-22 is a HV power supply error. Most of the time when I see this the corotron wires are contaminated by developer. You need to clean it with a vacuum.
