You can bought if from the authorized service center for Panasonic at your town. Just give them the exact model number to your TV, and get an original replacement.
I would suggest hooking up via HDMI or via the composite cables. Then all you should have to do is turn on your ps3, change the input on your tv to whichever port shows the ps3 or new input device. If it doesn't for some reason recognize it as ps3, you can always go into more detail using the tv to rename that port as the PS3. Hope this is what you wanted to know!
The flashing light is a service code for the repair tech. You have a board failure on the set and it needs to be looked at by a qualified repair tech. Very common issue these days. Bad capacitors were used in the making of these sets and they are failing, making it a pain for all owners. Better hurry and get itr repaired if you want to keep it, cause electronics parts are starting to dry up since the earthquake in Japan.
hi, ur ps3's HDMI out is a full hd video (1080p). if u r tv does not support full hd this problem can occur. do one thing. connect the ps3 to any full hd tv and go to its video setup, then down scale its video resolution to 1080i. after that connect the ps3 to ur tv. u will surely get video. ok
Had same problem with Panasonic PT60LC14 tv when connecting by HDMI cord to my PS3 and a blue ray disc was playing. First, read your tv manual to see what video inputs it supports . Then read the PS3 online manual (section on "video output settings").
For me I found out that my tv only supported 1080i (along with 480i/p, 780p) and the ps3 manual says blue ray outputs 1080p, so my blue ray discs will not play on my tv according to the PS3 manual. PS3 manual says to restart the ps3 (power off, then power on and HOLD for 5 seconds) - then the standard video output settings should be reset. Hopefully the ps3 menu will pop up at least. I haven't tried this yet but if it doesn't work, i'll may try to reset PS3 video out settings manually first using another tv that works with it ..
Actually if you do have a ps2 you don`t really need a Dvd upconverter because Ps3 is a full Dvd player +blu Ray Hi Definition.I suggest to take the dvd out and just use the ps3 as a Dvd player
Good Luck
