When Labtec sends an update for my WC PRO it downloads OK. When I try to install I get "Internal Error 2378" which prevents installation. Happens every time. I'm running Vista Home Premium on a Dell Dimension E521 that seems to be OK. All checks fail to find the cause of this error. Thanks.

This is very strange. It sounds like a driver problem, but you said you got the latest drivers from Labtec. I would go to Labtec's support area and copy what you posted her and show it to them to see if they know of any similar issues.

Here is the download page for your camera's drivers. A rule of thumb for me is to NEVER use included software/install disks when I buy hardware, you can find them on the manufacturer's website and when downloading you can more easily find different builds (for example, my printer only came with the disks to install the suite of applications, whereas the basic operational drivers were available online).
here is the download site for your webcam brand, just pick out your model, download, and install!
