Mercury no longer provides the AC'97 driver for this motherboard on Mercury's web site. Click on this Mercury driver link;

However you can download the AC'97 driver from Realtek.

Try installing version A4.06 for, Windows 98Gold/98se/Me/2000/XP/2003(32/64 bits) for Driver only.
Enter your bios & make sure the AC97 is set to AUTO. See page 35 in the manual.

i instaled new windows xp but it can not shoe sound ineed vga suond only

They are not adjustable. If they are noisy you will need to have them checked for possiable lack of lubrication, is your oil full, check it just to be safe
