Dodge neon speed sensor needs to be replaced. Need to know how to do it myself

The speed sensor is located in the lower transaxle and it looks exactly like the coil plug in. It is a two or three wire sensor with one retaining bolt holding in. Once the bolt is removed, you may have to wiggle and pry a little to get it out. The wire colors should be black & light blue for ground, orange for power supply, and possible white with orange stripe for the gauge cluster. The power to the sensor comes from the ignition switch 15amp fuse in fuse block. Click on the link below to read more:

We've got a church tv camera that records picture so that predominantly neon green and pink appear on the recordings. The neon almost looks like fire. What should we be looking at besides the normal...

You leave out too much information. What kind of camera (CCTV, IR, BW/Color, handheld, web cam, etc). Name/Brand/Model ? What are you trying to do? Security? Film your service? Broadcast via internet? What kind of monitor are you using and how do you know it is a known good monitor?

Your information is too vague so I can only give you a vague, potential answer;

potential is high that the actual chip lense itself is at fault, potential fault within chroma/color circuitry or if it is an older camera, out of adjustment and if very old, tube is no longer viable.

Additional thoughts: EMI shield malfunction on the PCB (highly rare).

Neon in color

sounds like you might need a good cleaning or your tv has contaminated coolant in the picture tubes. or you just might need to adjust the screen control for the picture tubes.

Install in 2000 Neon?

Hi Siriusearl,

If the original connector and wires are not messed up and your doing a direct replacement of your Factory Radio, your in good shape. Go to Best buy and get you and adpater to go from 2000 neon. If you have the one that direct couples and leaves wires to terminate to the JVC, then you will have to hook up by standard hookup colors. And it should be color to color from JVC to the Adapter cable. If your still have trouble, leave another comment here and I will get an alert to check in on you.

Many colors appear

I don't know the C-720 specifically but many Olympus digicams have special effect settings and you may have inadvertently switched one of them on. If you have the manual, look through that for information on where in the camera menu such settings are found & then check them. Failing that, there is a menu item to reset the camera to Factory Defaults - see if that helps.

Picture

Its a slight possibility that a 2.00 Part called a capacitor could be bad on the screen drive voltage source. But most likly it sounds like the Picture tubes are comming to the end of there life expectancy. If the crts are weak there is a crt rejuvinator that could possibly clean the grids off each color gun. But this is a crap shoot, as sometimes it destroys the tubes. These type of repairs are not for the handi-man or a consumer to do. There are no real user replaceable parts inside so unless your able to solder and know the HI Voltage saftey issues, you should call a pro to assist you in this repair. Good Luck
