Software prerequisite I have Windows XP running on a P3. with half a gig of mem. Not the fastest machine in the world but reliable. Office Small Business Upgrade 2007 will work on your PC but it can be a bit slow when starting office applications.
I suggest also upgrading the RAM to at leas one GIG the memory is not expensive and the computer general performance will improve considerably.
Office Small Business Upgrade requires a previous version of office installed. It is designed for those computers with Windows server 2003 or later and Windows XP SP2 and later, it will run fine if you install SP2.
You need to have a valid licensed copy of Office already installed. It will not work with Office 98. The package can be installed from Office 2000 onward.

I don't believe so. You might need an older version of office installed on your pc though.
