We have a F01 coming up on our machine. Any ideas.

If error message "F01" through "F09" appears in the LCD while the
sewing machine is being used, the machine may be malfunctioning.
Contact your nearest authorized service center

For this model it should say F01 because there is a difference between F01 and F11 need to know if 01 if you have F blank then 1 the light is out on the UI display if indeed it is 01 then service sheet points to a possible main control hope this helps

It's probably a weak or failed component on the board. It's a common issue on those machines and the Whirlpool Duets. It's usually burned at the motor relay or heater relay.
F01 error code flashes when there is a primary control failure.
The only thing which will solve an F01 error code is a new machine control board. These is a catastrophic control board failure. Nothing can correct it. The part number you require is W10205977.

It depends on the model. On Whirlpool built machines F01 is EEPROM error, pump drive error, or main relays error.

With Hotpoint F01 means defective triac or defective motor.

There are two small inlet filters on the pipe connections inside the machine, maybe a blockage there.

Fault code F01 indicates a problem with the motor triac.
Check all connections to and from the motor, the control module, and the motor plug

Did you try to unplug the unit for 60 secounds and replug it back up?
do this and see if this works. then reset the machine's cycle, you are in the middle of cycle I usually push pause cancel and wait till the door beeps and then I can open it. but if this does not open the machine do the unplug and reset method. if this does not work please let me know.
