Hi, I've been trying to register our new nuvi 255w GPS ( so we can then, download our free map update, ) & I've been having no success. I can't even get past the registration questions! The questions are; * Enter Users Name (?) What do they want? I've tried everything. Typing just my full name. I've even tried typing my e-mail add., that does'nt work neither. Please, help! What should I be typing in, to register thus product? * Enter Password (?) Is it just any password that crosses my mind or is it more specific like that used with my e-mail account? Please, be clear on info. Please, be prompt & clear about further instructions, so I can rush to enter my 60 day delay for our free map downloads. Thank you in advance.

BEFORE you try to log in to their website, you MUST create an account.

Under My Garmin sign in, there's a "Don't have an account? Create one"
Put your full name, email addy, a username, password (6 character minimum) and confirm password in the appropriate fields. THEN you'll be in business to register your product!
