You likely updated your iPhone to iOS 12 recently, which is when the problem started. My research indicates that a newer version of Google maps that supports iOS 12 and Carplay was released which you may not have. Delete the Google maps app on your phone. Then go to the App store and install it again. Now connect to your vehicle and see if the problem is solved.
If your iPhone vibrate switch is broken, Apple often fix it for free even if your phone is no longer under warranty. I went to 3 different stores and they all offered to fix mine for free, immediately, in-store.
Note: If you have installed software that Apple does not approve of, you should uninstall it or reset your OS before bringing your phone in.
I dont think it is possible to load iOS to a non apple iphone. When you upgrade an apple iphone's software, it sends to apple information for verification. If verification fails, it wont give you an upgrade. With a fake iphone, it wont even have the avenues for sending information to apple for a download of a specifis iOS. And even if you did get the OS, the phone you have must have iphone specific hardware like the A5 processor, GPU, etc. so i really dont think it would be possible to load iOS on a fake iphone
Try a hard reset: Hold menu button and powerbutton together for 5sec. If that doesn't restart it, take it to the apple store. If you're out of warranty, try to replace the logic board there are guides that show you how : iPhone Repair Guide
You need to contact your phone provider or Apple Iphone and most likely there will be a charge/cost for maps. The maps could be stored in the Iphone's memory or on the memory card.
You need to refer to your cell phone manual for map installation instructions.

As you have already said your iPhone has been tampered with, you have an Unlocked iPhone which renders the warranty Void, even if you put the phone back to defaults once the iPhone is in Apple's hands the software tools they run against your phone will tell them it has been hacked and you will get no support.
my advice to all iphone user _ don't ever upgrade or unlock via software if you dont know well the procedure any mistake while downloading the software will mess up your iphone.... upgrading from 1.1.1 to 1.1.2 will not help your iphone to be the latest version its just the same and no sense at all
