I've lost the installation disk for printer hooked to another computer. That computer is a Mac and is not hooked up to the internet. Where can I get a replacement installation disk?

Hey Corinne, to install a printer on your computer all you need is the driver for your according printer, since you have lost the Installation disk you can always download these drivers from the internet. After you've downloaded the drivers plug in the printer into your computer and run the installation. Follow the instructions and you should be good to go.

You can install it with following specification

1) Install the diver for the printer on each device. I actually had to carry the printer into another room and hook it directly to the PeeCee to get the driver to install on it. I also noticed that it was better to download the driver than use the disk. Software online was newer than the disk, even though I just purchased the printer.
2) Plug the printer into the router and power cycle the router.
3) Download the Apple software "Bonjour" from the Apple website. Run it from the computer you want to hook to the printer.

Remember to make SURE the driver for your printer is installed ON the computer you want to print from or it won't work. As I found out you may actually have to carry the printer around to each computer to get the driver to install correctly.

Go to Brothers web site and look for downloads or drivers. Download the drivers for your model and install them. Also if it has any software/manuals that the model uses you should find it there as well. I you already have software installed I would uninstall and reinstall the software you download.
