Hold Power and a/b buttons for five seconds to reset.
Mine stopped working, I thought the batter had died. Plugged it in and there was no response on te screen. After 2 weeks I read this and held those 2 buttons down for a count of 10. Nothing happened on the screen. I plugged it in and the unit began charging. I am ecstatic and hope it is OK. 3 hours to wait and see.

all you have to do is hold the menu and a-b button at the time for a few seconds and it goes away

Yes there is a way and it worked for me... If you have windows media player than you can empty you samsung t9... All you have to do is plug in your samsung and it will say on windows media player (left) samsung... right click the word samsung and it will give you options.... than click fromat and it will delet everything....

I plugged it in the computer and downloaded a few songs. Now it says Transferring Files and even though I unplugged it it's stuck and I can't reset it. When I plug it in the computer, it doesn't work.
I just used my Mp3 player, it was working just fine. I turned off tthe power for like 20 min. when I went to turn it on I got no responce, I tried pluggig it in to the computer and still nothing, I held the power button for a few seconds and I still got nothing,
when i tryed to play a song it automatically turned off and wouldn't turn back on. this the third day it aint turning on.
Reset does not help.
