I have the manual i can send you a drop box link to if you let me know what email address you'd want it to go to. I bought mine around 1989 and it's been going strong but I have to tell you about the fan. It started out loud and it got even louder over the years because it's a cheap squirrel cage aluminum fan. There's nothing much you can do to change the sound other than getting an outboard fan. They all pretty much suck on most all microwave ovens. I'd never get one again with this type of fan
check your manual it has all the instruction you need to operate your microwave.good luck..if that does not work then check partstore.com for a manual.or check with the store you bought the microwave from.good luck.
If you press "convection" the oven works just like a regular oven except that the element is on top. In "microwave" it works like a microwave oven. All you have to do is decide which mode you want to use and then punch in the time and hit "start". The glass plate is not really a necessity as long as you make sure there is a load in the oven when you are "microwaving".
Unfortunately there does not seem to be a manual around on the net. Under the circumstances the best thing would be to call Bionaires help line on 1-800-253-2764 They should be able to help you get the instructions. Really, what you should do is go back to the dealer and insist that he supply you your manual. You have a right to it, you paid for it and are entitled to receive it, even if he has to take it out of another box. Stand your ground!

If you just bought it new and it came with no instructions, you should first contact the store you got it from for a manual.
Otherwise, manufacturers certainly do not want to expose themselves to serious liability by letting their ovens be sold without instructions!
If contacting the store is no help, please post back here with your brand and model and we can probably point you to contact information or an online manual.
