System Mechanic is a series of software programs from Iolo
Technologies that provide virus protection and malware and spyware removal.
The Basic mode of System Mechanic offers virus protection
and malware identification.
To use the other programs and obtain the additional service
benefits of System Mechanic, you will need to upgrade to System Mechanic
Professional.
The upgrade process is a simple task.
Visit the System Mechanic website at iolo.com and click on
"Products," then choose "Upgrades and Renewals" from the
drop-down list.
This will open a page where you can begin the upgrade
process.
Enter your activation code.
At the top of the "Upgrades and Renewals" page
there is a place to enter your activation code from System Mechanic.
This code will allow you to download the upgrade at a
reduced price.
Click "Submit" when finished.
Choose an upgrade version and click "Add to cart."
This will take you to a page allowing you to purchase
extended service for your upgraded product.
Choose to accept or decline this option and click
"Submit" to be taken to the shopping cart page.
Review your order, click "Continue to checkout" and you will be taken
to the payment page.
Enter your information on the checkout page and choose the
type of delivery for the upgrade.
After you click "Submit" your payment will be
instantly processed and the upgrade will be emailed to you immediately.
Open the email for the upgrade.
It will contain the information necessary to navigate to the
download page.
Once on that page, you will enter the code provided in the
email and the upgrade will be immediately downloaded and installed into your
computer.
