Check the power pack and the fuse to make sure the are working but if the are not okay then take the car audio amplifier to audio mechanic.

I have 2 2 ohm dvc alpine type r 12 inch subs. Each voice coil on both subs reads 2.5 on ohm meter. I need wireing diagram to hook up to a boss 2500 class a/b amp at 2 ohm

To have 2x 2 ohm subs wired up, they either need to be wired in series or in parallel. In series, they will total as a 4 ohm load to the amp (or 5 ohms if 2.5 each) and in parallel, they will be 1 ohm (may be closer 1.25 ohms I think).
If this is a mono block (single channel) amp, I can't see that you will be able to wire them for a 2 ohm loan. You may have to wire them in series to be a 4/5 ohm total as the amp probably won't be 1/1.25 ohm stable.

Can I Bridge 2 Pioneer 12 1300 Watt 4 Ohms to boss 2600w 4 channel amp

Yes, one sub to channel one and two and the other to three and four. Ensure you set the crossover to lowpass. If you don't get the sound you want, as long as you have the correct enclosure, I would recommend an external adjustable crossover.

I have a 400w rms @ 4ohm sub. What amp do i need? If i want to connect it via 2 channel, bridgeable amp, what wattage does each channel need to be? Do i need a second amp for 2 6x9s?

almost any amplifier amp would push a 400 watt sub. try to stick with a name brand, and steer away from no name brands like boss, jensen, etc.you will only need a 2 channel amp to run your sub.you will need a second amp to run your 6x9'sor you could get a 5 channel amp, and run all your speakers, and the 5th channel for your sub

What would be the best way to wire 2 1800w 4 ohm boss compact speakers to the boss cx950 amp

As the amp cannot support a 2ohm load you have to hook each sub up to one channel on the sub and you can't run them in bridged mode.

I had my boss 2400 watt 2 channel amp hooked up in my car. I had one sub on each channel and one of my subs blew. I unhooked the positive speaker wire on the blown sub, everything was fine. Driving down...

If your amp started smoking, probably not. Due to your description, did the other sub really blow? I would hook it up to another amp to test it. It may have been a channel in your amp. As for repairing the amp, the parts and labor to repair will probably cost you more that to just replace the amp.

I have a boss rt645 2ch 1400 watt amp would this amp properly push a pair of 12 inch mtx terminators.

That all depends on the wattage of the subs. also the independance of the subs. If your amp is 1400 watt, maximum you want is 2 600watt subs. if your subs are higher you will blow your amp eventually as your amp isnt powerful enough to pump out to that level. You should never have your amp fully turned up to max, 80% is perfect and will not make your amp blow. Hense why you want your subs less than the max output of your amp.

How do i run the wires on the back og thw 12 in. boss 2200 wattcx120dc sub woofer voice coil

It has 2 coils with 4ohm and 110w RMS power. Depending on what amplifire you have, you can conect on two chanals with 4ohm on each channel or if your amp can handla 2ohm, than you can take the+from both coils and connect it together on 1chanal, and take two- and connect it together, that way you will get 2ohm resistance on 1 chanal. It all depends what your amp can handle and how much power does it have!

BOSS AUDIO SYSTEMS SE950 Car Audio Amplifier: I have a SE950 boss amp, hooked to 2 audiobahn 12"...

Sounds like you are over working this amp for sure.. Upgrading your power wire & battery might help, check your gain level on your amp to. This is not the volume for the amp. Its to get both amp and the cd player on the same page... And most of all if your subs are wired up to .5 ohm stable, see if your amp do the same... My answer to this ?? Upgrade your amp, Boss audio was never a good company to me, but that is my opinon. Audiobahn set up all the way..

Amps

It comes down to Amperage and RMS, your best bet is to go in and talk to a salesman at a stereo shop. That way he can decide on what sort of power you want and how you wanna use the subs. But 1000amp AMP is probably a good start 4 channel of course. Alpine or SOny make some kick a$$ AMPS
