Question about Toshiba M675 VHS VCR

Need manual for Tosheba vcr manual m675 I bought vcr at a 2nd hand store without a manual and since there is no word MENU on the remoste or the VCR it seem there is no screen to start programing on. I have pushed the program button and nothing happens...batteries are okay. need hep prgraming so I can use it thanks at [email protected]

you know it would be easier to help you if we knew what Toshiba vcr it is. it is usually easy to set clocks now. you push menu or setup on the vcr remote and there s usually a option to set the clock. only thing i can tell you right now is look here and type in yoru modle number on the vcr and see if ther eis a oweners manual on the site.

Sometimes the codes used in the remote are the wrong type for your model VCR. Though functions will work with some codes. It's best to try some of the other codes for GE VCR's and see if that triggers it to life the missing menu.

Electronics are so much fun arent they?
The TV does not need to recognize the VCR at all. All it is looking for is a plain Composite video signal from any device - VCR or DVD.
If you are just playing a tape and not using the VCR as a Tuner, then it doesnt matter if the VCR is on Chl 3 or 4.

Do this - play a tape, test the Yellow connector to a regular TV to verify the signal is coming down the cable. Then, try it again on another Video/Yellow input on your LED unit. Have a great day!

I connected my VCR to a new Samsung LED TV with the white ,red and yellow audio/video cable connection. The VCR is working but I put the tv and the VCR on Cahnnel 3 and it does not show up on the TV, WHY?

To answer your question;
You need to change the input(not channel) on your tv to video input. There should be a button on your remote and/or tv called input.
Otherwise you should find it in the menu under"input source"

Seinfeld DVD episodes won't play
It is probably not your VCR. If it is only the Seinfeld DVD's then the format that the production company wrote on those few episodes are incompatible with your vcr. I know I'm not solving your problem much, but don't go waste money on a brand new Vcr when not needed.

Have you fixed your problem?

If not, just try pressing the dvd/vcr button, so the vcr becomes the primary device. Now you can press setup and go back into the vcr menu.

Recording on blaupunkt VCR RTV 430/540 from T.V

the VCR should record even without a tv attached.  The VCR will display what channel it is on.  The TV is only for viewing.

 

Cable hook up is ..

1. from the wall (or antenna) to the VCR input jack

2. from VCR output jack to TV input jack

 

Most TVs use channel 3 for VCR viewing.  You will need to hit the TV/VCR button on the VCR also.

My Vizio D32f-F1 TV won't turn on. Any suggestions? The LED does not turn on or even blink. I opened it up and found no obvious visual problem or smell. I disconnected the two cables from the power board ADTVI1206XA7 and with AC coming to the board I found 12V at the 8-pin connector, but not 5V. I figured the power board was bad probably wrong and installed a replacement board, which did not change any of this. With the cables attached to the replacement power board, cycling the power switch on/off did not change anything--doesn't turn on, no LED/no blink.
