cannot load paper
Look for a small **** in the rear/back - middle of calculator, under the hook that holds the roll of paper, not on top where the printer paper comes out.

check the setting on your printer properties on the computer. Check paper source setting.
The bottom paper tray can be extended to allow longer paper (page 8 in user guide ) also there is a button on the printer to select either the cassette or from the top loader. This is explained in the user manual on page 11

On mine it was Er meant "error" just generic for somethings wrong, (dumb I know!) and the uF means unit failure. I know it sounds so dang dumb. It is merely the computer\'s way of telling us something is not right. Hope it helps, but please don\'t ignore those codes they really are put there for OUR safety, Be Well.
Hi, You are NOT DUMB. Believe me, It has happened to every person I know that has an oven with one of those timers. It has happened to me and I am trained as a professional technician. Why, it even says here I am a Guru. The day your problem first stumped me, I didn't feel like I was a Guru. There are several variations to those timers so I will try to cover all of the bases. If the clock has three dials, two small ones and 1 big one. Turn one of the the pointers of the two small dials to the same direction as the other. You will hear a clicking sound. Alternately push each one and then try the oven. On the Fridgidaire, if my memory serves me correctly, there is a small know that is for time bake. It has a spot on it opposite the Zero that should say "MAN" OR "MANUAL". The that timer pointer to that position. See if that works. Please let me know what happened. Best Regards, The dumb guru, Mark
Do you see a belt diagram posted on the deck somewhere? If you do follow it. One very important thing to remember with belts is the v-pulleys accept the v-portion of the belt and the flat pulleys accept the flat side of the belt. If I can be of more help please feel free to mail me.Donnyb60
I reported the same problem and decided to check one last time before I scrapped the printer. I pulled out Tray 1 (the bottom (large capacity tray) to really check closely. I discovered that there seemed to be a space between the end of the paper and the printer tray. I simply squeezed the space closed and NOW IT WORKS! I keep kicking myself for being dumb.
1. The end of the paper roll can be cut on either a straight-edge
or angled slant.
2. Remove the top cover of the calculator.
3. Insert the paper into the narrow back slit on the back of the
calculator so that it feeds under the black plastic plate. The
slit is located on the outside of calculator.
4. Use the Paper FEED button to advance the paper up.
5. Replace the cover and feed the paper through the cover opening.
Hope this helps. Slit for paper is not immediately obvious, so
don't put yourself down.
I want to change the tape
