Malfunctioned Hi, I'm really confused why the face down roller shaft has malfunctioned. It doesn't work anymore... I tried dismantling almost entire parts of it and replaced its small gear assembly to no avail. Please... i need help.

The fuel tank being empty, bad fuel in the tank, the fuel filter is clogged, the fuel pump stopped working, the ecm malfunctioned, engine overheated, the ignition switch malfunctioned, charging system failure, a broken timing belt/chain, hitting something really hard at 60mph...etc...etc.

My solution is to never ever buy Canon products again. My MP230 has BARELY been used at all in the couple months I've owned it. The unit failed right as I was about to print my final documents for a really important proposal. I live in the middle of nowhere and so basically this meant, I could not include all the items I wanted in my bid. There never was any paper jam in the first place and none of the suggestions here have helped. The suggestion to clean the printer rollers was a great one, that Canon's error menu might consider mentioning, and I was briefly hopeful - however it did not work. No surprise really as there was no reason to think that my practically brand new rollers should be dirty. I also tried, without luck, the old switch it on and off and the tedious uninstall/reinstall routine. This printer was bought with a refund from a previous Canon that also stopped paper feeding after light usage within a few weeks of purchase. I also returned two Canon cameras last year, one which malfunctioned within 48 hours of being taken out of the box, and one which lasted a couple of weeks. My conclusion is that this is cheap mass-produced garbage with shoddy quality control. It's a false economy and I've learned my lesson: next time I will spend twice as much and go with an Epson or HP: reliable workhorses.

This is a problem with the Pickup roller.

Try to inspect the paper pickup roller, on the right side of the roller you can find a small notch which gets coupled with the shaft it will be broken. You have to replace the roller.

A slow router and/or disconnecting wireless router can be caused by several things. Please click on this link and follow my instruction to resolve these issues :-

remove the left, back and top covers.
At both ends of the shaft are plastic bushings.
Rotate them so they point in a horizontal position.
Lift the right side of the shaft(it has a white gear on the end) and then slide the shaft to the right to release the left side from the chassis.

Please try connecting your phone to a different USB port other than the one which you use normally.
If the issue is the same then try connecting it to another PC if you still face the problem then it is a hardware issue.Either your phone or the USB cable is gone bad.So replace the USB cable first with a new one and then try connecting.If the issue is till the same then it is your phone and you will have to get it repaired or get it replaced if it is under warranty.

maybe try n format the memory card.

Here's a link to the complete service manual. The 2400 series isn't known to have problems with output gear problems. Most of the time the problem is with the geartrain itself. Below the service manual link and there is another link that addresses geartrain issues. The gears they are showing and discussing are also known to cause top end (exit) jamming. The article walks you through the gear replacements.

Some times this error message will pop up.

Just disconnect it.

Shut down the system.

Wait for some time.

Turn it back on.

Connect it in the computer USB port & not in the USB hub or something.
