My 6gig Giga Bank USB Drive is coming up as unreadable and Windows 7 is telling me the drivers were not installed properly. I have tried Uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling them but that doesnt seem work.

Probably all it needs is the proper driver. You should have gotten several disks with the laptop containing OS, drivers, etc. If not, go to the Acer's site and download the proper drivers and install them. They will have installation instructions posted or for download. Unfortunately, I can't tell you who manufactured the webcam in your PC. Should be available on Acer's website.

I do find it odd that Win 7 doesn't have the drivers already installed tho. Most major webcams are covered, especially if you bought the laptop with Win 7 installed.

Can also try going to device manager and uninstalling the webcam, then reboot. Windows will reinstall the webcam. Try updating the driver from device manager also.

If your motherboard's BIOS is properly configured for SATA controllers and you burned the Windows 7 RC1 ISO image correctly, Windows 7 should recognise and install on a SATA drive without any third-party drivers. Consult your motherboard's User's Guide for assistance in setting up the BIOS properly.

Try your Iomega drive on another computer to make sure it works. if it works on another computer, then come back to your computer with windows 7 and try different usb ports. Maybe one of your usb ports is bad. If your usb ports are ok, then your drive is not compatible with windows 7.

Go to iomega's website and see if they have an update, patch or driver for Windows 7.

Get online and got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "Iomega Support" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operating system when requested. Download and install the Windows 7 drivers.

your windows 7 is trying to use the native driver for usb hard drive, but its having a hard time installing it so thats why you are getting it hasnt installed properly, you may want to install a driver specifically from your HDD manufacturer try to look for the driver on the website. you can also use the driver for vista on 7. hope that helps

I am assuming this is on a Windows system.
Try looking at it with disk management.
That should tell you that it is there and may offer you options.

Broken or a virus? Probably not.
I'd be looking at the USB cable. Is it the one that came with the drive?
Some cables only pass power, and not the data lines, so although the device manager says it is working properly, that may only mean it thinks the driver is correctly installed
And the cable may be faulty.

Oh, and I forgot, is the drive powered with a working power supply? And switched on? I sometimes forget that but too.

In windows 7 sometime what happend when we install something on slow processors i.e 3.0 window xp takes a very long time i.e 10 to 15 minutes. You will see that nothing is working but in backgroung it is working so wait for 10 to 15 minutes.

2. solution. Just simply insert your cd in cd drive. and then cancel the setup programme.
then go to systemproperties ----> device manager -------> and then search for yello ticks or not updated driver select proper item and then select update driver and when prompted for location then give the cd drive path it will install your driver 100%.

3. It might be possible that your have deleted the printer icon from the printers list. Try uninstalling the driver.

4. Your USB Cable or Jack in computer is not working properly. Try replacing the cable or try in other slots availabe as USB.

Try to install the usb driver compatible with your windows 7..

If your external drive also come with its cd installer, try installing the driver for this hardware compatible for windows7.

I assume you mean the drivers are not downloading properly. Try unplugging the printer's USB cable and uninstalling the driver (in case it stalled part way), then plug in the USB cable again and let Windows 7 download and install the driver. You must have Windows update set to download and install all updates. Otherwise, you'll have to go through the Windows update manager to install the drivers.

The Lexmark site did have some time out problems for me so you may want to try again in a bit.

you need to go to the jobo site, find the driver/software/service link, in that you will find the giga one formatting tool, download and use that. i had the same problem when i purchased my original giga one, i used windows to format the drive - but as people find out windows is unable to format the drive correctly ie fat 32, and you then get an error message. in the formatting tool it tells you why what the different error codes are and error 1 means drive not formatted to fat 32, im not sure how old your giga one is but when i purchased mine approx 4yrs ago it never came with a proper manual and there was no support on the jobo site at the time. I think a lot of these minor problems could be avoided if it came with a manual and explained whats needed to clear the internal hard drive

Please tell me the method of creating bootable pen drive.
And also suggest me what are the contents in CD come with Trnscend pen drive.

Are there any software useful for making bootable disk in CD????
