When I turn on the printer to power both lights are permanently lit and the printer will not print. Is blocked. Tx.

The drum has come to the end of its life. You should replace the drum assembly and reset the drum counter. Here is the procedure:
power off and open front door
hold down the continue button as you power on printer leaving front door open
when error light comes on release continue and close front door.
toner low, load paper, ready, and continue will all be lit.
press cancel slowly 4 times or until just toner low lights up. each time you press cancel, the light sequence should change
when just toner low is lit, press and hold continue button until lights cycle up and down in sequence.
release continue.. toner low will be lit again
turn printer off, wait 10 secs or so and then back on
press continue button to print off settings page and check under cartridge information, photoconductor value is 0K (zero)

Press the pause button to take the printer off pause...

The data light is flashing because it has labels to print...

Check to be sure your ribbon is loaded properly.

the print head on the cartridge is bad. you will have to replace the cartridge.

1. Power Unit off

2. Open front cover

3. Press and hold GO and turn power on

4. When all 3 lights lit release and press GO twice

5. All lights turn solid

6. With all solid, press GO 5 times

7. Ready light GOes red

8. Close door and you're all set

To print a TX (transmission) report after each fax sent:

1. Press the Copy button if that light is not already lit
2. Press the Menu button
3. Press the Right arrow to get to "Maintenance / settings"
4. Press the OK button
5. Press the Right arrow to get to "Device settings"
6. Press the OK button
7. (You should be at FAX SETTINGS) Press the OK button again
8. Press the down arrow to get to "TX settings"
9. Press the OK button
10. Press the down arrow to get to "TX report"
11. Press the OK button
11. Press the down arrow to get to "Print for each TX"
12. Press the OK button
(You can have the machine print the first page of the fax with the report if desired)
13. Press Stop / Reset

how do it lits? flashes or permanent? and kindly indicate if its attention indicator or ready indicator...
cause in every flash and lits of that indicators have meaning...

All lights are off. The printer is off (asleep).

Press the POWER button to turn the printer on.

The POWER (top) light is on. The printer is idle.

Allow enough time to print. When a document has many fonts or graphics or uses complex color such as a color photo, it takes longer to begin printing.

The PRINT CARTRIDGE (bottom) light is blinking. Possible causes:

• The front cover is open. Make sure the front cover is completely closed.
• The print cartridge is missing. Make sure the print cartridge has been installed correctly.
• The print cartridge is broken or incompatible. Lift the front cover, and wait for the print-cartridge cradle to slide out. Check the part numbers on the print cartridge:

Black: 51645A

Color: C1823D,

If the print cartridges are compatible and correctly installed, they may be defective. Try replacing the print cartridges.

If none of the above suggestions fix the problem, and, if the error message still occurs, it may be a hardware failure. Call the HP Customer Support Center.

I WOULD TAKE ALL CARTIGDES OUT UNPLUG FROM ELECTRICAL SOCKET THEN PLUG BACK IN .

WHEN PRINTER SAYS INSERT CARTRIDGES THEN INSERT TO RESET ERROR

all lights are flashing
the printer may need to be restarted
1. Press the Power button to turn off the printer, then press the Power button to
restart the printer.
Proceed to step 2 if the lights continue to flash.
2. Press the Power button to turn off the printer.
3. Disconnect the printer's power cord from the electrical outlet.
4. Reconnect the printer's power cord to the electrical outlet.
5. Press the Power button to turn on the printer.

If these steps do not work. It will need service, as a bad board may be the problem.

If the new toner is original, your unit just burned the fuser. If it is under warranty, any Samsung Authorized Service Center will gladly replace it for free.
