Hello,

The reason you get this error is the name used for this current network was previously saved with settings when used before. All you have to do is,delete this network from the preferred network list from your compute and re-connect your computer to the network and you will not receive this error message again.

Scan access denied

If you are viewing your HP printer from your desktop, you probably got this message under Scan > Scan to computer > webscan.

So, to solve the problem, go to Settings > Security > Administrator Settings, and enable (checkmark) the box next to Webscan, and click Apply. If it saves successfully you will now be able to use Webscan.

Can't connect with the internet. Message is "settings saved do not match the requirements of the network."

okay what you do is go to start documents and copy this to the address bar "Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network and Sharing Center" after you do that click on manage wireless networks on the side now click on your internet profile and hit delete after its deleted search and find you internet and set it up again

Settings saved on other computer for the network do not match the requirements of the network now

This error message usually occurs in windows vista & win7 if the settings saved on the computer doesnt matches with the settings in the router...
You can get rid of this message by deleting the list of preferred networks from your computer...
To delete the preferred networks, follow the method given below...
Open control panel > open Network & Internet(double click) > open Network & Sharing center(double click)
On the far hand side left you will have an option called "Manage wireless networks" If you click that, you will see the list of preferred networks that are already saved in your computer... Now select your network, make a right click and select "Remove network" Select "ok" for all the warnings...
Thats it..! you are done..! Now search for the list of available wireless networks in range, you must be able to see your network name without any error mesages... Select your network and click connect, it will ask for the network key(if you have setup one)... Enter the key and get connected...! You must be able to go online now..!

You can configure your router without the setup disk , or you can talk to linksys tech support at 18003267114 - (very good free support ) or you can follow these directions :---

After making the conection

Please Double Click on the Internet Explorer and on the Address bar,
type in 192.168.1.1 and Press Enter.
Leave the Username blank and type "admin" in the password.
Step 04:
Configure Wireless Settings:
1. Please click on Wireless tab on the router's setup page.
2. Make sure that the Wireless Network Mode is set to Mixed.
3. Change the Wireless Network Name or the SSID from Linksys into your name.
4. For the Wireless Channel, please change it from 6 to 11.
5. Enable the Wireless SSID Broadcast
6. After that, please click on the Save Settings button.
Apply Security Encryption

1. When the router's setup page appears, please click on the "Wireless" tab.
2. When the Wireless area appears, click on the "Wireless Security" sub tab.
3. When the Wireless Security area appears, Change the Mode to WPA personal.
4. Enter the password of your choice in the WPA shared key (it should be minimum 8 characters) and then save the settings.
Step 05:
1. Under Basic Setup tab and set the "Internet Connection Type" to
Automatic-DHCP. After that, please save the settings.
2. Click on the the MAC Address Clone sub tab.
3. In the “MAC Clone” section, set the option to Enable.
4. Click on the Clone Your PC’s MAC button.
5. After that, please save the settings.
Step 06:
Power Cycle:
1. Unplug the router’s power cable.
2. Unplug the Broadband modem’s power cable.
3. Wait for 30 seconds.
4. Plug in the Broadband modem’s power cable and wait for its
lights to stop blinking.
5. Plug in the router's power cable once the modem’s lights stop
blinking.
6. Finally, Test the Internet connection
