There is one number in my contacts that will not recieve my text messages, even though my phone says the message has been sent. Could I have put a block on his number? I am still able to recieve messages from him and make and receive voicecalls. The phone is Samsung Jet S8000. Kim

Call your Service Provider,
Ask them to Give you the MESSAGE CENTRE NUMBER
Then go to your mobile messages settings and choose text messages then choose MESSAGE CENTRE NUMBER ,then put the MESSAGE CNTRE NUMBER there

Such problems occur when your message center number has been tampered with. Call your service provider to get the message center number go to message settings and check the message center in use input the correct center number and your problem is solved.

When you port a number over from another company then you begin to have issues receiving texts from that previous company. They can re-port your number for free if you explain it to them and they talk to the department that does the number porting, but if you use FlexPay then they can't "re-port the number". They usually are willing to change your number though.
Have the service books resent to the Verizon user. If they are sending pictures, make sure you can receive those from your provider.

Put your number in where it says phonenumber on the link.
You need to have mms multimedia messaging. By default cricket users that just have text messaging do not get a email addy. The txt msgs are routed by crickets network.

On every phone there are settings that can stop you sending texts. However all phones should still receive texts even if all the settings were changed. As the text message is directed to you mobile number you should still be receiving?
When you compose your text and select contact does the phone move them to the out/sent box?
Settings to check for sending are your 'message centre number' (your network provider can supply and they are normally different for pay monthly and pay & go) 'Message sent as' should be 'text' (not fax or email etc).
Text problems are common where people change or delete digits from the message centre number by mistake.
If you cannot receive texts i would recommend speaking to your provider for help as it may be your account details at their end? (beyond your control). Hope that helps?

try contacting your network sim operator and ask them to send you the text / mms numbers settings to your phone sounds like they are missing this can cause texts and mms to not be sent recieved

first check your message center number if it is correct. or reformat your phone.

this might be a network thing because that is the only way it works here in Australia.
