The sound on my speakers work when i connect it to my latop using the extra cable connected on my Logitech x230 but when it comes to my computer, the sounds do not work. All the settings are on and are not on mute. When i click onto control panel and volume control, it says there are "no audio device". Can you please tell me what to do? Thanks!

Please find or download logitech installer in your PC . Check also the pin connection of your hardware at the back of the CPU usually the phone jack there is lighth green.
Plug the green lead on the speakers into the headphone socket on the television. You may need to go into the menu to turn up the headphone output. Turn it to 70% on the TV, then use the volume control on the speakers
Try and twist the jack which is connected to your PC, the solder inside could have snapped. If it has a diferent pwer source for the sound system, then power on, hold the jack and short the ends with your fingertips. If the speakers dont respond then its not getting any power, which could be simple loose connection too. Test both and then decide. If you dont have the correct driver then download from: http://www.new-drivers.com/files/speakers/Logitech/?gclid=CM_a2oOjtpkCFcQtpAod6hp-5Q........sodeep
If the sound only happens when sound is being played through them I would check the shielding on your connections to your sound card. Make sure that any protective coverings are in place and that the connections are tight.
If it happens at random times even when sound is not being played through them I would see if you are picking up interference such as a close cell phone, fan, ham radio operator, etc.
see it is a 5.1 speaker system if your laptop comes with 3 audio jacks with colours green black and pink then all your speakers works if you have only two jacks tht is one jack for audio and other is microfone then u only your woofer and 2 speakers works in speaker cables ther will be two cables connect the green one to green jack your sound plays if u have totally 3 jacks connect the 2nd cable to black one(non microfone jack)check this out this works

Hello
There is no drivers, for this, but you have to check cables, to fit well on your inputs for your sound card. see the mixer and change the speakers values for 2 way speakers, and see if work.
Hi Arty, if you have a nice sound card, like Creative Live, or Audigy, or Sound blaster X-fi, use your cables that came with the x-530 depending on the cables provide, the cables are well identifid by colors, put in the same way in your computer, and of course, you need to make adjustment on control panel, in sound setting to use 5.1 computers, this may do the trick
