My camera was dropped and now the screen is completely white. The camera still takes photos but the screen is always blank. Is there a way to fix this or will it have to be repaired at a camera shop?

there might be two issues here (1) your phone 's operating software is corrupted with virus or viruses if there are some unusual applications which are running and difficult to uninstall try to root your phone and uninstall them you can use king root to do this , (2) your phone 's hardware connection from the camera to the motherboard is disturbed try to open the phone and clean it, your can also look for dry joins , if you have a hot air station you can blow the motherboard ,take not of the temperature. try to view photos from another memory card
That is actually the exact same thing I am experiencing but mine has grey lines on the display window. I was able to take photos to a grey screen connect it to my comp...low and behold my pics showed....I am furious....need some answers as I will never hear the end of it from my daughter.
try to adjust resolution. flash, active mode might have been turned on.buttons are sensitive too. if it doesnt work you might have damaged internal drive or fried some connections inside.
my camera just did that to me yesterday..i had t for like a week.. did u have a warranty on it or something like that??
i have to take mine back to the place were i got it and go talk to them about it..

This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Fuji should fix this for you for free. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check the following two links for more info:
