A couple of things you could try...
1. Remove the power socket from the wall and leave out for thirty seconds. You need to actually remove the plug from it's socket, not just switch the unit or plug socket off.
2. Near the DVD tray there is usually a small hole (a little bit bigger than the size of a pin). This is usually a manual eject mechanism. You can use a pin or a straightened out paper clip to push inside the hole which would normally activate the eject mechanism.
