I have a Luminox Mens Dive Watch and it fell from my sofa to the tile floor. The crystal cracked but it did not shatter. Also it has been stopping, but the battery is fine (checked it out). Can it be some sort of circuit out of wack? Can these two problems be fixed with a certified watch repair location and is it expensive?

Make sure one or all of the hands of the watch are not hitting the crystal. It may have been pushed in when it shattered.

SOURCE: Navy Seal Luminox watch second hand problem

It is a feature of this watch, it is referred to as the end of life (EOL) feature, it is a way of letting you know its time to change the battery before it dies to the point where it cannot keep time anymore

Hi my navy seal is in great shape however sometimes it runs fast sometimes slow and sometimes stops is this common? can it be repaired? or does it need a movement swap? any and all comments...

It sounds like the quartz crystal may be the problem, it must vibrate at a precise frequency which is critical in controlling the exact speed and thus translate into precision time. I would get the watch checked to if it can be fixed at a reasonable price.

Replaced the renata #371 battery with a duracell d371. The watch still doesnt work. It working fine when i put it up on the shelf a week ago then just stopped. Is it the battery type?

Could be a duff battery - this does happen - even to duracell.

Try another battery - try and get a renata as was originally in the watch. Luminox usually use the Ronda swiss movement - which are pretty bulletproof movements. (i've got 2 Luminox - nice watches, prefer these of trasers)

If you don't get any joy with another new battery - send to the recommended sevice / repairer on Luminox website - prices are not that bad and you can specifiy exactly what you want done so it should not cost the earth - all prices are there to see.

Luminox 3001 watch not keeping time

Because of the way they work, it's quite hard for quartz movements to run consistently slow - so if you find one getting behind, it's usually a sign that it's stopping intermittently. It would do no harm to check that the crown is properly pushed in after you've reset it, but my guess is that the watch will benefit from a new battery. A.
