The following letters on my keyboard (uiopjklm) are coming out with their "fn" counterparts

Make sure you press and hold these keys till it changes. Number Lock+Fn+Delete and it should turn it off.

When trying to type and using keys uiopjklm, unless i press the fn key whilst pressing the secected key,a number is typed instead .

Try holding the Ctrl and Fn key down together and then press the Ins(Num LK) key. This should revert the keys back as normal.

My Toshiba Satellite Pro A300-GR laptop wont type the letters o l k i and numbers eight and nine as well as comma - stop - down arrow not working - right arrow not working and delete key not working - also...

You have Number Lock set on your PC - Have a look for a key top right hand side, it will have something like NumLck written on the KEY - you may need to use that Key in combination with the FN key - bottom left of keyboard - there should be a light somewhere on the keyboard which goes on/off as you toggle the NumLck key. You should see different coloured numbers on the key s*()UIOPJKLM These are the numbers and symbols that will be displayed when the NumLock is used

My laptop keeps typeing numbers for the follwoing letters uiopjklm. How do I get it back to typeing letters?

Switch NumLk off

Usually this is done by pressing Fn & F11 keys together

Or just look for the key that has NumLk on it and press it together with Fn
