Hp proliant ml370 g4 rebooting problem

Hi I have a ML370 g4. it keeps rebooting at the windows loading up screen. I replaced the motherbroad twice. the same problem still happens. The server works fine with 1 CPU in it, but when 1 put the 2nd in it keeps rebooting. I have tested each cpu on its own and it works fine. I have done all the packs updates and bios etcs. I have also tested the memory. This happans has well when i boot with smartstart.
Any ideas would be great

how much memory do you have on board? and what is the size of the power supply? sometimes a power supply is working at a bit less than its rating and as a result the addition of the 2nd cpu will bear this out,,,,,since the power supply has to be continuous and stable in the less than 3v tap there is much less room for error and the bios on either board would pick that up during its POST..please respond to this request....Thankyou

Open the case and turn on. There should be a corresponding led lit inside. That, or you could run Insight Manager. It will tell you exact details.

Compaq ProLiant ML370 G4 (374490421) Server - Windows xp issues

Servers need the Drivers for the Drive array card.
The server should have come with a smartStart CD that has the drivers for it.
You are NOT going to get another OS on this machine unless you load the drivers for the adapter.
... and why put XP on a Server? that's not the optimal OS for the hardware.

Startup problem

Assuming all appears normal (LED's etc) I would suggest you could have a Processor or VRM issue. Drop the machine to a single processor /VRM and see if that helps. Another possibility is a system board issue
