Usually Sony Camcorders are designed to turn off after 5 minutes of non recording. If you want to disable without recording like when you try to use the Camcorder as webcam, please remove the tape from the Camcorder. If the tape/cassette is not inserted in the Camcorder, it will not go to standby mode. Thanks for understanding.. If you need any assistance, please ask me

After my pool timer go into sleep mode it didn't shut off

If your above ground pool timer is not automatically shutting off while in sleep mode, there could be a few reasons why this is happening:
  1. Timer is not set up properly: Make sure that the timer is set up correctly and all the settings are configured as per the manufacturer's instructions. Check the user manual to ensure that you have set the timer correctly.
  2. Faulty timer: Your timer may be faulty or damaged. Try resetting the timer and if the issue persists, it may be necessary to replace it.
  3. Power surges: Power surges can cause electronic devices like pool timers to malfunction. Check to make sure there were no power surges or outages that may have affected the timer's function.
  4. Wiring issues: Check the wiring connections to ensure that they are secure and properly connected. Loose or damaged wiring can cause the timer to malfunction.
  5. Software update: If your timer is connected to a Wi-Fi network or has an app, make sure that the software is up to date. Software updates can often fix bugs and improve performance.
If you have tried these troubleshooting steps and the timer still does not automatically shut off while in sleep mode, it may be best to contact a professional electrician or the manufacturer's customer support for further assistance.

I have a brand new Sherman Timeoff Water Timer Model 500 in a box, but there are no instructions. Can you help?

It appears that you turn the dial to any setting from 1 to 13 depending upon how much water you want the timer to dispense. The numbers show relative amounts from 100 total gallons to 400 total gallons, then the timer shuts off.

Our 12 year old kitchenaide prestige dryer's timer gets stuck and it does not shut off automatically

Hi, If the dryer heats in the automatic cycle and the timer still does not advance, try using the time cycle. If the timer still won't advance, you will need to replace the timer.
I hope this helps you. Please let me know if I can assist you further.

Thanks

It will not automatically turn off when running, the knob does not turn while running.

Miss Stephanie you must replace the timer.
If you have a timed dry setting. Run timed dry. If it does not shut off timer is bad.
If it does shut off you have a sensor problem.

Roper dryer won't shut off

The timer motor isn't moving the timer. You'll need to replace the timer. Turning the timer **** to off should stop the machine.
Exception: If the shutting the door automatically starts the motor, then the start switch/relay is probably shorted.
