i dont think its possible with windows mobile phones as they use activesync to communicate with the computer but you can try Windows Mobile Center but im not sure
Connect you O2 Xda to your PC using your USB cable. Connect using Active Sync. Double click the .exe setup of the software you want to install on your PDA. Follow the onscreen instructions.
Directly open the .cab file (if you have) for the software you want to install on your PDA. The installation should start automatically.
The best solution to these problems is hard resetting your device. A hard reset will bring your PDA to it's factory default state, so your PDA will be as fast as it was when it was brand new. But this process will erase all your stored data (Such as adress book, messaged, appointments, tasks, pictures, ...) so you should consider having a backup of your PDA to your PC with a backup software before you hard reset your device. So later when you hard reset, you can recover the personal data with this backup file and continue using your PDA faster.
To hard reset your PDA, you must press the on/off button and reset button at the same time (reset button is a small button that needs to be pressed with your pen, and usually it is located in the bottom of the PDA). And later, wait a couple of minutes and the windows will be reinstalled and load up with the starting page of the screen alignment. After you completed all the settings, you can recover your data from your backup file (from PC).
This is the suggestion they provide on O2 website for such problems:
Perform a soft reset (PDA phone) or re-boot the device (Smartphone) and test again.
Perform a hard reset (PDA phone) or return to default settings (Smartphone) and test again. (read below before dong this)
Check that the application still fails to execute after you upgraded the ROM (OS) to the latest revision. If you haven't upgraded your ROM (OS) do so now and check again.
But before doing the hard reset, I suggest you try installing other camera software for windows mobile 5 and check if the camera still working (not a hardware problem). If its still fail, try the hard reset after backing up all you data.
it seems the os of your phone shomehow got curropted..first hard reset your phone using.... camara+recording button+power button and reset it with stylus....but you will loose your data stored on phone.....bet data on storage card will be saved........if this solve your problem...thats great...in case if not...reinstall the os on PDA...this will surely solve your problem...
All the Best.

I would say that either the upgrade package is not compatable with your device and has not installed anything beyond flashing/deleting the current installed eeprom info (no info on the eeprom at all) or the device has been restarted or uplugged during the flash eeprom stage, the factory/master reset should take you back to config mode at least, when trying the master reset the power should be on, then activate the master reset with a paperclip or pin only will work, press and hold until the red light goes out, remove the pin or paperclip activator and your device should power up as normal with the old eeprom info or ready for new eeprom info to flashed onto it if you are successful here ensure you use the istall package that came with this device Should be WinMobile/II or IIe I think.
