SOURCE: rockband 360 problem

have you checked the batteries? also try re-syncing them to the 360. are you using wireless or wired? if wired, sometimes the usb ports get worn out, try using the one in the back above the av port. good luck!

SOURCE: how do sync the guitar w/ xbox 360 console?

Start the game and go into the options menu. There is an option to calibrate lag. Complete the instructions and the guitar will be synchronised with your TV.
If you mean how do you assign a guitar controller to the console, press the small button near the headphone port after pressing the guide button to turn the controller on, then press the small circuar button on the front of the console like you would with a regular 360 controller to assign the controller to the Xbox.

SOURCE: cant sync my wireless guitar to the xbox

Step one: Hold the Xbox button on the controller for 5 seconds
Step two: click the connect button on the xbox.
Step three: Hold the connect button on the controller for 5 seconds.

If they are not broken, this should work. This is the PROPER way to connect ANY wireless controller.

SOURCE: Wired Guitar for X Box 360 from Rockband, no connection?

Dude your probably thinking about the Break away cord Or the cord that pulls out before the USB cord for your xbox 360, the guitar comes with 2 parts The guitar with a cord and the breakaway extender the Extender plugs into the front of the Xbox in a little Usb slot :)

Just bought a used xbox 360 controller online. It is a wired controller. When i plug it in to the xbox I just get green blinking light

that means you have to many controllers registered to the system I have had this problem multiple times with my xbox if anything take a wireless controller or even a guitar hero or rock band guitar and take batteries out if that doesnt work then sync one of the controllers to a different xbox.

I cant get the guitar to sync up with the my 360. it lights up but keeps flashing because it can't connect.

You need to pair the guitar to the Xbox just like you would any other new controller. Press the sync button on the guitar (usually located near the Xbox Guide button) and the sync button on the Xbox (located to the right of the slot for memory unit 2) and they should sync up.

Guitar hero world tour xbox 360

The guitar syncs the same was a regular controller does.

There's a tiny sync button near the XBox button on the guitar. Press that, and then the sync button on your Console.

Syncing problem? Xbox 360

Is your TV a HD TV? Be sure to go to options and synchronize the game. There are delays with HD TV's and the GH/Rock Band games.

Also, try using a wired guitar to see if there is a problem with the wireless guitar you are using.

Hope this helps!

pmac92,
Did you sync your guitar and drums first? They are just like a normal xbox 360 wireless controller, you need to sync them.
