Question about Coleman Propane Forced Air Heater w/Electronic Ignition (50,000-80,000 BTU)

My Coleman direct vent forced air furnace 7995-656/D will fire up but the auto fan does not come on. I can cheat this by cutting the fan to on after the burner heats up. Whats my problem?

Two things the pressure switch not working or the fan control afc not working could need cleaning at the back of the afc try this the afc works on temp rise to bring on the fan afc temp fall to shut of fan so it sound like the afc is not coming on at temp rise, also check if air filter is clean

How do I light pilot light?

There should not be a pilot on a direct vent furnace. When you turn up the thermostat for heat the 1st thing to happen is a venter motor should start, it should vent for approximately 45 seconds, the air switch will verify a vacuum in the burner box, then a spark igniter should start clicking to start the pilot, then the flame rod will verify the pilot, the igniter will stop clicking, and the main burner will ignite and remain on until the thermostat has satisfied the set point. These guideline steps must be satisfied before the controller advances to the next step. The 1st step is the venter motor running, sometimes the motor will stick over the summer months, spin it manually to unstick it. PS, nothing runs if the fan door cover is open, as that shuts down the power to the whole furnace.

main fan should come on once furnace has heated up to supply hot air to the house. make sure proper voltage going to the fan. fan relay in board may be shot

I have a Coleman forced air furnace that when turned on will heat up get to temp and then it blows the flame out but the fan motor continues to run. if i shut the furnace off and restart it it quickly...

Fan control could be on summer switch. or af control not working keeping fun running

sounds like it is the pressure switch try jumping it out on some models you fool the heater in too working or see if the tubes are blocked , there should be some codes on the front panel or the fan panel

This is probably the fan limit that is bad. It should be a black bow tie looking thing next to or near the blower.

Green light stays on, red light blinks along with a buzzing noise

colman uses the furnace to power the attic vent fan . Cheaper that way I guess. It just supplies your attic fan with power so it will vent thus keeping your home a little cooler in the summer.
not a big deal. you can shut the alarm with a switch ot cut power to the alarm.

Furnace clicks multipal times while running.Is this normal?

As it starts and stops several switches will open and/or close, sometimes you can hear them. When it's just running then it may make a few noises from expansion and/or contraction.

Small blower motor? Are you talking about the combustion blower if so then check your vents for blockage.. if the vents are blocked won't work... if it has a control board init it will give you a diagnostic code. Flashing light on the board... count the flashes and look up the fault on the chart in your owners manual ot on the furnace door..
