I have Garmin Streetpilot c550 and I love the product. My issue is that it stopped working the other day and I am wondering how to reset my Garmin Streetpilot c550.
When it was hooked to the car charger it would always have green light and orange light. Now all I see is green light.
I have pushed reset and I get no response. Does some know what I need to do to get this working again????
My last resort will be to send it to Garmin for repair. If I can get it working that would be great!!! Has anybody experienced the same problem and has got it work pease let me know.

The only way to unlock a PIN locked Garmin is to enter the correct PIN number, or take the unit to the location at which the PIN was entered. Your only other option is to send the unit to Garmin.

There are three options to unlock a PIN locked Garmin. 1 - Enter the correct PIN number. 2 - Take the unit to the location at which the PIN was entered. The unit will automatically unlock. 3 - Send the unit back to Garmin,
The manual would not help you. Resetting the unit (even a Master Reset) will NOT remove or reset the PIN. Your options for unlocking a PIN locked Garmin are:
1 - Enter the correct PIN.
2 - Take the unit to the location at which the PIN was set.
3 - Return the unit to Garmin.
Resetting the unit WILL NOT reset the PIN. Your only options for unlocking a PIN locked Garmin are:
1 - Enter the correct PIN
2 - Take the unit to the location at which the PIN was originally entered
3 - Send the unit back to Garmin.

hey u got to try 4 digit.. try to do it the most you cant and belive me u will unlock your garmin c550...after felling alot of times will go back to reset and it will unlock..good luck

If you forget your PIN number, drive to your security location where you set the PIN and this will unlock the unit.
