Machine will not empty. After emptying machine by hand, I have disconnected outlet hose and flushed through with water, some debris has been emitted, Plug cap has been removed and checked for blockage as has the adjacent small drain hose. Could there be a blockage inside machine?

It is not draining the water out it is a haier hw-c1460tveme-0

Hi, you can drain the water by disconnecting the grey empty hose putting the end in a bucket and lowering the pipe flat and below the tub level, the water will empty under gravity into the bucket.

When its empty CLICK HERE to follow the instructions ho how to check and empty the filter of any debris, then try the machine again, is it still does not empty then suspect pump failure.

hope this helps.

My machine wont drain or spin. if i maually empty, it will eventually start a wool wash but then says error e20 but filter is clean and no kinks or blockage in drain pipe. should i replace outlet pump?

Do the following.

1. Switch off the machine, unplug or disconnect the mains AC power to the machine and turn off the water supply to the machine.
2. Remove the filter access panel.
3. Remove the filter and make sure that the filter is not blocked and is clean and clear of all debris. Clean as required. Note that depending on the machine type you may get a lot of water coming out of the filter when you remove it if the machine has not drained successfully. Note that if the machine has stopped and not fully drained then you may be able to drain out the excess water by removing or disconnecting the waste hose and laying it on the ground in a tray. It may take a few minutes to empty but it will save a small flood.
4. Proceed by checking the drain hose for proper connection and kinks and make sure that it is not blocked.
5. Also check that the main waste drain pipe, if you use one, is not blocked and clean if required.
6. Reconnect the power and switch the machine on.
If the problem persists then do the following.

7. Switch off the machine and disconnect the mains power.
8. Check the electrical connections at the pump and make sure it is operational.
9. Remove the connecting hoses, and expect water to drain out and make sure the pipes are not blocked with debris or any object blockage.
10. Makes sure the pump appears clear and that the impeller looks in good condition.
11. Reconnect the hoses and then reconnect power and switch the machine on.
12. If problem has not been corrected, then remove the pump and check that the drive coupling to the motor is OK and that the motor turns OK. If all is well then replace the pump.

Aeg lavamat error code E20. Machine will not progress to spin cycle

This means that there is an issue with pumping water out from the machine.

Possible reasons:
-The hose for water outlet is bent
-The water outlet is more than 1metre above the bottom of the machine.
-The emptying pump is clogged up
-If connected to a waterlock, the waterlock may be clogged up.

If the emptying pump is clogged up, the solution is to empty the machine manually. First turn the machine off and disconnect the electricity. There is a small lid on the bottom right corner of the machine. Inside you will find a small hose. Ready a small box for collecting the water. Warning: The water may be hot. Allow the water some time to cool down. Remove the plug from the hose (screw it out at first, then pull the rest out). You may have to empty it in a couple of sessions. Just put the plug back in if the box gets full of water. repeat until no more water flows out. Put the plug back in. Now put a towel underneath the front of the machine for collecting water that flows out when you open the lid for the pump. You can open the lid of the emptying pump by turning it counter clockwise. It is right next to the small hose you just used. Pull the lid out, and remove what is clogging up the pump. Before you slide the lid back in, you should check that the pump goes around. You can do this with a pen and a flashlight. Use the pen to move the pump around. It is normal for it to move in "bursts" (that it's not revolving smoothly). Slide the lid back into the tracks on the inside of the housing of the pump, and close it. Now you may reconnect the electricity, and the machine should work._1923.jpg_1924.jpg

Faulty washing machine w123

does the water empty from the machine? if not you will more than likely have something trapped in the pump. the best thing to do is run the grey outlet hose into a bucket, this will empty the machine. then tilt machine back (make sure it wont fall) then remove the plastic kick plate on the front bottom, behind this you should see the round plastic filter this will unscrew and pull out, you may need a couple of towels put on the floor as there is usually water left in the pipes. clean any debris and screw filter back in, should only need to be hand tight. replace kick plate and then give it try.
hope this helps

Water flowing back into washer after wash

There is a back flow valve attached to the outlet port of the drain pump. It is just a small rubber flap. This sometimes comes loose or remains open due to debris and allows the water in the drain hose to flow back into the machine after the drain pump shuts off. It can be checked by removing the drain hose from the pump inside of the machine. You will lose all of the water in your machine (about 1/2 gallon)when you do this so be prepared with a bunch of towels.
