Scanjet 3770 installation

Installing Scanjet

I am using HP scanjet 3770 for the last 1 year. I was runing it on windows XP, but now i have installed Vista on my pc and itis not installing due to the drivers. Kindly help me in getting the software installed on windows vista. From which site i will get the drivers to download.

Error:
Parsing error in file C:\Program File\HP\Digital Imaging'bin\hpqscloc\1033.xml

    Cambie a Windows Vista y no me reconoce el scanner HP 3770, estoy mal porque no puedo usar el scanner que es parte de mi trabajo, que puedo hacer

    I can't install driver for HP scanjet 3770, the ImageZone software.
    My OS is Win XP pro SP2. Always stop me on 36%of instalation and I get message: "fatal error hpg scanjet3770", if I can remember.
    Please, anybody help me how to install that driver.. thankyou

Same Problem August 18, 2009- I can't install driver for HP scanjet 3770, the ImageZone software.

Scanjet 3770 drivers for windows 7
There isn't a designated driver for windows 7 for this scanner, but I have seen some other people who have the exact same problem as you, and they were told to download the Vista drivers instead and it worked fine, so feel free to give it a shot. You can download the driver here: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?prodNameId=391319&lang=en&cc=us&taskId=135&prodTypeId=15179&prodSeriesId=391317

And if the installer fails to begin, use Application Compatibility mode by right-clicking the install file, then click "properties" then click the tab "Compatibility", Check the box for "Run this Program..." and select from the drop down menu "Windows XP (Service Pack 2).

I cant install a hp scanjet 3770 on a windows xp sp3 mashine with the drivers i can get in the internet!
Access the manufacturer's web-site: http://support.hp.com
Enter the model-number of your device, and do a search.
Select your Operating System (XP? 7?).
Download the official device-drivers.
Install it.
Print a "test" page.

Driver for 5470c scanner will not work with windows 7
Hi ,
Scanjet 5470c does'nt work under W 7 . No drivers available .
Here are a few hints :
1° hint :
Do not connect scanner .
Load XP driver ( yes , XP) , reboot , connect scanner and wait for confirmation of successfull operation .
Reboot .
Dowload and install FreeKapture ( yes , it's free ) from http://download.cnet.com/FreeKapture/3000-2094_4-10673689.html
Open Freekapture , clic on Scan and select WIA-Hewlett-Packard . Scanjet 4470c works fine in this mode but if you choose HP PrecisionScan Pro , program will hang .
In any case , no slides or negatives scans possible but the rest works .
2° hint :
If you have the W XP install disc , you could install a virtual version of W XP on your HDD ( http://downloads.vmware.com/d/info/desktop_downloads/vmware_player/3_0 ) You could also partition your HDD ( http://www.partitionwizard.com/free-partition-manager.html ) and install W XP on the new one .
