Russel Hobbs iron: The element is ok, but the iron fail to warm up. What is the problem?

Aply colgate on the surface of the iron, waite few minutes for it to stick thoroughly then srub it off with a cloth. It comes off with the dirt..

somethings wrong with the heater processor. if the irons working but not heating you should take it back to the store

sounds like a faulty sensor,approach the shop where you bought it from if still under guarantee.

This is a problem with the thermostat- possible that the bimetal is stuck or short or changed in alignment causing the power to be connected at all times and not cutting off.If you can remove the unit then this can be seen by checking the cut off of the control.

Unless this can be mended in a good machine tool shop there can be no replacement except from an old set or from service support of Russel Hobbs.

check the dial is in steam position or maybe you may have build up in the line for the steam
