How do i take the back off on a 1999 nissan maxima bucket seat

Hi, follow the instruction below......

1. Remove the lower seat cushion by pulling straight up on the front portion and disengaging the clips. Then hinge the seat upward to release the rear clips.
   

1. Remove upper rear seat back-to-chassis bolts.

   Fig. 6: ... Then pull up on the seat to disengage the three clips on the top of the seat
   
   1. Remove rear seat back by tilting forward and pulling straight up.
      
   
   To install:
   
   1. Install the lower seat cushion and torque the lower rear seat-to-chassis bolts to 15-20 ft. lbs. (21-26 Nm).
   2. Install the upper rear seat back cushion and torque the upper rear seat back-to-chassis bolts to 15-20 ft. lbs. (21-26 Nm)

The Nissan maxima seats have electric adjusters, which allow you to move the seat forward and backward, up and down, and tilt forward and backward.The seats are securely bolted to the car's floorboard. To remove the seat follow this procedure:- First move the seat to forward direction.Then remove the plastic covers from rear side of the seat.If its hard to remove,use a screw driver to pry the cover. The slide covers fitted with bolts.remove those bolts by socket wrench.once bolts are removed,move seat to rear side. You will have to take the material and the foam off of the seat to get to the bolts that hold the back of the bucket seat on. Then unbolt the two torx headed bolts.
