I have a LG WM2016CW washer. It's 14 mo. old and lately the fabric softner dispenser is still full when the washer finishes the complete cycle. I took out the drawer per instructions in the book and washed it with water (nothing was clogged). The next time I used it the same thing happened - fabric softner dispenser was still full of fabric softner. Do you know what is the problem?

Where are you putting the fabric softener and when do you put it in? If your washer has a fabric softener dispenser, use it at the start of your wash. Leave the lid closed until cycle is completed. No dispenser? Pour diluted fabric softener in the rinse cycle or the second time water fills the washer.

Mine machine is brand new..so the dispenser is not dirty..I have lots of softener left in bottom all sliming my clothes

I have the same problem and sometimes water stays in the detergent tray as well. I don't have a solution other than to remove the whole tray and drain in the sink after each cycle.

Run some vinger through it. Fabric Softner leaves a filmy residue that can clog it up.

I cannot help you solve your problem with your Frigidaire, however DO NOT buy an LG washer unless you happen to be intimately involved with an LG employee!!

I purchase a $1200 LG washer 3 years ago. Until this year it worked very well. Then the bearing in the stator motor blew. This, mind you, is *still* under warrantee but I have been unable, even with the dubious help of LG, to get one of their "authorized" repairmen to come to my house and fix it. True, I live in a rural area, but it isn't like I'm hundreds of miles from any of the three repair services they named. Apparently LG doesn't pay them well for warrantee repairs because they all wanted more money and refused the work!

I am going to turn all of the information and communications I have had with LG (by email thank goodness!) to my State's Attorney's Office.

Good luck in getting this repaired.

is the machine got good water pressure cus somtimes little water gets in the fabric soften tay and it dosent flush all the softner out. hope this helps.

fabric softener goes into the dispenser. it may be a full blown solenoid valve -or- a flapper type of solenoid valve. operation of the solenoid operates a flapper to let the softener out. go to an appliance repair site to find the solenoid - appliance parts dot com or repair clinic dot com.
